Utah State Supreme Court Judge suspended for half a year for anti Trump comments

True Pundit reports: The Supreme Court of Utah has upheld a six-month suspension without pay for Taylorsville Justice Court Judge Michael Kwan. In a ruling last week, Utah’s Supreme Court determined Kwan undermined public confidence in the judiciary for “improper use of judicial authority and his inappropriate political commentary.” Kwan criticized Trump, both on social media and in his courtroom, before and after the 2016 election. Kwan also disparaged Trump in 2017 when a defendant voiced hope that Trump would follow through on his promise to implement tax reform.

For once in America in the last two years a Judge is now being held responsible for activist actions, as Utah Supreme Court Justice Michael Kwan has been suspended six months without pay for anti Trump comments. Maybe this should be something we see with previous administration appointed Judges who bought their Obama appointments to be Federal Judges, who have now signed off on just under 40 activist injunctions currently blocking Trump's lawful authority...Like our recent issue with Judge Haywood Gilliam. We have an obvious problem at both state and Federal levels with activist judges, and for the first time one is in trouble over it. It's time to hold judges at the Federal level blocking Trump's Presidential authority accountable just like this.
