Watch Video: Biden Goes Into Damage Control Mode After Fiery Exchange With Kamala Harris in Dem Debate

2020 Dem candidate Joe Biden went into damage control Friday after Sen. Kamala Harris torched him during round two of Dem debates Thursday night.

Joe Biden praised a few segregationist Democrat lawmakers leading up to Thursday night’s debate and Kamala Harris used it as an opportunity to pounce on the former Vice President.
Kamala Harris took on former Vice President Joe Biden on his past record on segregation and the media exploded.

Kamala lectured Joe on how she was in the second integrated class in Berkeley, California. She suggested that the local school district had failed, adding, “There are moments in history where states fail to preserve the civil rights of all people.”
The audience loved Kamala’s attack on Joe and the media was set ablaze with photos of a young Kamala Harris.
“That little girl was me,” Kamala said.
Joe Biden, who is currently in Chicago at the Rainbow PUSH Coalition Convention, tried to put the fire out on Friday.

“I’d like to say something about the debate we had last night,” Biden said responding to Kamala Harris. “We all know that 30 seconds to 60 seconds on a campaign debate exchange can’t do justice to a lifetime committed to civil rights.”
“I want to be absolutely clear about my record and position on racial justice, including busing — I never ever opposed voluntary busing,” Biden said trying to put the fire out.
This is classic. An old white guy is begging to be liked by the party that hates old white guys.

Here are the facts:
Harris said she was a student in only the second class to integrate at Berkeley public schools.
Not true.
Kamala’s parents were successful professionals. Kamala went to school in Berkeley for only 2 years. She then moved with her mother at age seven to Canada where she attended grade school and high school.
Kamala Harris was born in 1964
She claims she was only the second class to integrate at the Berkeley public schools.
Actually the classrooms in Berkeley were already integrated in 1963 — before she was born.
Here’s a photo from the 1963 Berkeley yearbook.
