Watch: adult Iranian Muslim Man marries a 11-year-old girl

The girl is said to be around 11. The man is reportedly 33. They were recently wed in a remote southwestern Iranian province with a video of the ceremony posted online.

Since the Islamic Revolution in Iran, the parliament has drastically changed the status of women and abolished laws protecting the rights of children (especially girls).

Parliamentarians in Iran have passed a bill which lowers the minimum age of marriage from 18 to just 9 and includes a clause that allows a man to marry his adopted daughter and while she is as young as 13 years.

The religious regime in Iran violates women's rights on a regular basis, but no one in the West seems to care.

The United Nations, the European Union and even the media ignore the mass protest of women in Iran who have recently begun to rebel against the strict religious laws that require all women to wear a veil in public.

According to estimates as many as 220,000 children aged between 10 and 14 are married in Iran,
This is a clear violation of human rights. Western countries must impose more sanctions against the Iranian religious regime.

This is how the shari'a regime oppresses the Iranian people. The rulers of Iran do not care about the welfare of the Iranian people, they are too busy promoting Shiite terror throughout the Middle East. Iran is one of the richest countries in natural resources, but the regime uses its wealth to start proxy wars & spread terrorism instead of improving people’s lives.
