A mentally disabled 18-year-old Michigan student has alleged that he engaged in sex acts with an employee of the school.
And that school employee, 37-year-old Ibrahim Aljahim, is also a Democrat activist, The Detroit Free Press reported.
“Ibrahim Aljahim, 37, of Hamtramck, was charged Sept. 21 with two counts of criminal sexual conduct in the first degree involving a victim who is mentally disabled, court records show,” it said.
“The victim is a teenage male, said Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy’s office on Thursday.
“The morning of Sept. 18, officials at Oakland International Academy’s high school in Hamtramck on the corner of Florian and Lathem contacted Hamtramck Police, said the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office in a statement,” it said.
“”While there, the officers investigated an allegation against Aljahim, who is employed as a student liaison with the school,” police said.
“It is alleged that on September 18, 2019, Aljahim had inappropriate sexual contact with an 18-year-old male student on school property during school hours,” they said.
It is alleged that the victim engaged in oral sex with the man who prosecutors said was “in a position of authority over the victim.”
On Wednesday Aljahim was at a Bernie Sanders rally and shared a video of the event to his personal Facebook page.
“We’re at the Bernie Sanders rally to support UAW workers,” he said in the video at the rally for the Vermont senator.
His page also included photos of him with various top Democrats including Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Hillary Clinton, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan and more.
“A Democrat political operative & Muslim activist in Mich. has been charged for alleged sex crimes against a male HS student w/a mental disability.
“Ibrahim Aljahim, a Yemini immigrant, is also under investigation for other sex assault allegations by minors,” Andy Ngo reported.
