Lindsey Graham Calls Out Dems On Impeachment Live On T.V.

During an appearance on Fox Business Network’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) told host Maria Bartiromo that before any serious consideration would be given to any House impeachment, he would have to hear from the so-called “Ukraine whistleblower” first.
Otherwise, any House impeachment would be “dead on arrival” in the Senate, where his Judiciary Committee would take the lead in any trial.
In response to a list of witnesses Graham’s GOP colleagues in the House are demanding to depose before Adam Schiff’s star chamber of inquiry, Graham said of Democrats, “They could care less about getting to the truth.”
“You can see efforts in the [Obama] State Department where they were worried about the conflict of interest” between Hunter Biden, son of VP Joe Biden, and his association with Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian gas company, at the time the Vice President was threatening to withhold $1 billion in funds from the Ukrainian government unless it fired a prosecutor investigating Burisma, Graham said.
“We’re gonna look at that,” he continued. “I consider any impeachment in the House that doesn’t allow us to know who the whistleblower is to be invalid, because without the whistleblower complaint we wouldn’t be talking about any of this.
“And I also see the need for Hunter Biden to be called to adequately defend [President Trump], and if you don’t do those two things, it’s a complete joke,” he continued.
“If they don’t call the whistleblower, this thing is dead on arrival in the Senate.”
