On Friday, House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler sent a letter to Attorney General Barr, requesting he make the prosecutors in Roger Stone’s case available to testify, along with several other Justice Department officials including U.S. attorney John Durham and Jeff Jensen. Additionally, Nadler stated his intentions to receive information on allegations of President Trump weaponizing the Justice Department.
From Politico:
"These circumstances are deeply troubling," Nadler wrote. "Although you serve at the President’s pleasure, you are also charged with the impartial administration of our laws. In turn, the House Judiciary Committee is charged with holding you to that responsibility."
Nadler’s concerns are in response to AG Barr's retraction of Roger Stone’s initial sentencing recommendation of 7 to 9 years, after Trump described the recommendation as a “horrible and very unfair situation” on Twitter. This resulted in all four prosecutors leaving the case with one resigning from their position in the Department altogether.
Nadler mentioned a total of eight people he wanted to gather more information from in the letter.
Aaron Zelinksy - Roger Stone prosecutor
Adam Jed - Roger Stone prosecutor
Michael Marando - Roger Stone prosecutor
Jonathan Kravis - Roger Stone prosecutor
John Durham - U.S. attorney conducting criminal investigation on the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation into President Trump
Jeff Jensen - U.S. attorney who was tapped by AG Barr to review case on Michael Flynn
Robert Khuzami - U.S. prosecutor who oversaw Michael Cohen’s case
Richard Donoghue - U.S. attorney tapped by Barr to oversee all matters regarding Ukraine
Here is the full letter from the House Judiciary Chairman obtained by Politico:

A top ranking Republican on the committee exposed Nadler’s demands, explaining that the letter is an attempt to distract from his cancellation of a key hearing on FISA reform this week.
"The Democrats’ request today is yet another attempt to distract from the job they’ve failed to do, which is reform FISA and finally address the abuse that has plagued our nation over the last three years,” said Doug Collins.
Earlier this month, Nadler had previously sent a letter to Barr, demanding information on the Justice Department's new “intake process,” after he learned that Rudy Giuliani channeled information on the Biden’s to the DOJ.
This new round of requests from Nadler makes it clear that Democrats are once again diving into the deep end to attack President Trump.
