Whoopi Goldberg Begs Joe Biden To Pick Barack Obama As His Running Mate

Former Vice President Joe Biden's presidential campaign has gone from being nearly dead to now liberals are as confident as ever that he's going to become the next president.
ABC's "The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg practically begged Biden to select former President Barack Obama for the vice president slot on the Democratic Party’s ticket.
The panel was discussing Biden winning big on Super Tuesday, including beating socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders in an upset win in Texas.
Goldberg said, “So I had another — I’ve been sitting here — I’ve been crazy all morning.”
Co-host Meghan McCain said, “It’s a crazy time.”
Goldberg said, “I’m sorry. I’m just going to do my crazy right now.”
McCain said, “I like it. I like when we go rogue.”
Goldberg continued, “Everybody was thinking about who could the VP be for Joe. I thought, oh man, what would happen if Joe Biden said my choice for VP is Barack Obama?”
After the audience cheered, Goldberg said, “He won’t, but it’s not illegal.”
McCain said, “It’s not going to happen.”
ABC legal analyst and co-host Sunny Hostin said, “I don’t think it’s illegal.”
Goldberg said, “It’s not illegal.”
Co-host Joy Behar said, “But you have to be eligible to run for president when you’re the vice president and he can’t.”
Goldberg said, “That’s not true.”
The Democrats are freaking out over the growing possibility that Sanders will secure the Democratic presidential nomination.
In what looks like a move to protect their control of the U.S. House, two Florida Democrats are suing to block Sanders from the state’s March 17 presidential primary.
They say Sanders is an Independent, not a Democrat, and should not be allowed on the ballot.
From Politico:
In a lawsuit filed Monday in circuit court in Leon County, the plaintiffs ask that Sanders be disqualified from the Democratic primary because he’s a declared independent.
The complaint also seeks to prevent state election officials from counting any votes Sanders has already received. More than 244,000 Democrats have already voted by mail in Florida.
Karen Gievers, a former circuit court judge representing Frank Bach and George Brown, both Tallahassee Democrats, said Sanders should not be allowed on the Democratic ballot.
Sanders if officially listed as an Independent and has raised money in his Senate campaign account as an independent, according to the lawsuit.
“Florida is a closed primary state, yet here we have someone who is an independent on the Democratic ballot,” said Gievers. “You can’t be an independent and be a member of the party.”
"Florida law gives political parties leeway to decide which candidates can appear on a party’s primary ballot, and the Florida Democratic Party last year chose to include major candidates with national attention and national reach," Politico reported.
With all of this considered, it's not surprising that the media is cheering Biden's recent successes on the campaign trail.
